Schauaffele starts the day in 8th, which has a payout of roughly $800,000.

Goes out and torches the course with a 64 today, moves into 4th place (as of now) which has a payout of $2 million.

Nice $1.2 million dollar round of golf today Xander.  Rounding into shape for the Ryder Cup.

Looking at actual scores (not the staggered start scores), X-man finished third at -12, two behind Rahm and Na.

Four straight birdies to end the tournament, every year he finishes at least close to the top.   Loves that course!

Finishes 7th in Ryder Cup standings, good momentum for 19 days from now.

I am surprised none of you have taken notice of Tiger's return to golf. The PNC Father & Son championship he is playing with his 12 year old son and they are tied for 2nd place in the last couple holes.

Tiger has commented how his stamina isn't there yet for competitive golf and you can see it in his face. He also has been limping slightly in the last few holes and his son has been the one sticking it close to pins. Charlie is dropping birdie putt after birdie putt as dad watches. Lots of fist bumps between dad and son and you all could only dream to have Charlies game in your bag.

Charlie gets to play off the forward tees on the par 4's because of his age but matches the long drives of the players behind him. He also played the same tee at the 17th, a par three 160+ yard with water on the left side and left side pin. He put the ball about 4 feet from the hole making it the best shot of the day by any player.

As a side note, Tiger has been taking a cart for the longer holes. The only other player I've seen using a cart has been John Daly. Gary Player is playing with his grandson. I wish I had Players game in my bag.

On the final hole Charlie had the better drive down the left side of the fairway on a dogleg left.
