A lot of low scores for an Open. The greens are giving up a lot of pars and birdies. I expected to see more shots slide off the greens but for the most part good shots are holding. The lack of wind is also aiding the golfers and allowing them to play their game without altering their shots. I get the feeling the sprinklers may not be turned on for the rest of the tourneyment to give the old course some teeth.

64-65 for Oosty, sitting at -11 headed into the weekend. he was my first pick for what has apparently become my own personal and private fantasy league team.

i didn't pick morikawa this week because i didn't know how his game would handle the BRITISH open. glad to see speith doing so well and hoping he wins. DJ made a nice charge today and is sitting at -7, well within striking range. should be a good third round tomorrow.

I prefer Spieth winning but I'm cool with Morikawa as well. Just want to get back to an American winning the British Open. Like it should be.
