Trout in CF, Calhoun in RF, Fletcher at 3B A. Simmons at SS.

For all the awards and accolades he has won/ received, a Gold Glove Award has eluded Mike Trout.

He is a finalist --- all three Angels appear to be underdogs in the quest for a Gold Glove.  Kammeier - Tampe Bay CF seems to have the better defensive stats,  We'll see.

Calhoun - not sure who he is up against but was surprised to see him on the list of finalists.

A. Simmons won the award over F. Lindor in 2018 -- I was very surprised by that -- despite a history of repeat Gold Glove winners years after year in some positions (like pitcher) -- Simmons may be ousted this year by Lindor not only because Lindor had another outstanding season but  Simmons missed 59 games on the IR.  That might cost him.  When he did play -- Simmons had the better  defensive stats.

yeah - Chapman won last year and perhaps this year as well. I think the votes are all in on these picks so Bregman's World Series play won't get him extra votes.

Calhoun is up against Mookie Betts and Houston's Reddick. I think that means he finishes third. Betts will win it.

I think Trout might get his Gold Glove this year and then Lindor edges out Simmons.  Exactly the opposite of last year.

Fletcher played 2B, SS, 3B and OF.  The dude deserves the GG.  He probably won't get it, but the defense he showed at all those positions makes him worthy of it IMO.

unfortunately, the award isn't a GG for Various Positions. He's nominated as a 3rd baseman and Chapman is a beast.
