Trout's out, Hermosillo is in.

Also has anyone told Ausmus that Barria does terrible with a opener? I don't think he's gotten the idea.

What are the comparative stats between games he starts and games when he has an opener?

As a traditional SP: 10 GS, 4.88 ERA, 48 IP, 26 ER, 43 hits, 15 walks, 47 strikeouts, 13 HR
With an opener: 3 G, 10.1 IP, 15.68 ERA, 10.1 IP, 18 ER, 23 hits, 18 ER, 5 walks, 8 strikeouts, 2 HR

He gave up 10 ER in one game, 7 ER in another, and then one decent 'start'.

But he's never looked particularly comfortable, and I believe he's even hinted at it in interviews.

As a starting pitcher (starting the game), Barria has given up a 1.064 OPS the 2nd time through the order and a .864 OPS thr 3rd time the order (less HRs, higher OBP).  So, no matter if he starts and had an opener, he's struggled the 2nd and 3rd time through in any circumstance.

Point is, he hasn't pitched well regardless...it's just a matter of percentage points

the 10 and 7 runs he gave up, were when he had a opener.

He made 10 starts outside of 3 openers he appeared in. following is collection of his results

# of ER allowed                 Starts

4 or 5                                     3

3                                             1

2                                             4

1                                             2

SO out of his 10 stats, in 7 of those starts he has allowed 3 or less runs.
