Name the percentage chance that Trout plays in a World Series as an Angel

There is no way to estimate this, but I'll pull out some numbers. Trout is going to be an Angel for at least then next 11 1/3 seasons. We'll include this year as there's a bit more than a snowball's (if less than an ice block's) chance they go on a run and make the WS this year.

So, 12 years. Over the last 12 seasons--2007 to 2018--there have been 15 different teams in the World Series. That's half of all teams in MLB.

So that gives us a baseline of 50%. So let's consider some other factors:

1) They have Trout, the best player in baseball. +10%

2) They have money and spend more than 70% of other teams. +10%

3) They have a good and overall improving farm system. +10%

4) They're the Angels, and are cursed. -10%.

So all things tolled, I'd give Trout a 70% chance of playing in at least one World Series as an Angel.

So the 2019 trade deadline is your basis for judging how we do for the next 10 years?

Well if you remember how the Angels did last year and in free agency is what prevented them from signing Trout to a contract extension.
