Yeah I get looking past the w-l record as it’s pointless for a pitcher...

 

but his ERA, ERA+, WHIP.... they’re all terrible and have been getting worse the last 3 years.

We are tying our entire off season and future hopes to this.... which means it wont happen.  This can be plans A thru E.

Frazier is a butcher in the field so not sure how much the Diamondbacks value him being in the NL.  Even if they were asking for mid level prospects that's a high price to pay but you're getting a proven pitcher who is under club control through 2020.  I think if Ray gets traded it's in his best interest to not end up in the AL East but if he went to a contender I'm sure he wouldn't care.

Imagine if we had sold high on Bedrosian? These guys ebb and flow. Buttery is great right now but he will probably have a rough stretch before putting things back together. Even Cam was lights out for a few months here and there.
