Are Yankee fans always louder than Angel fans?

It's the same way in Seattle with Yankees fans, and Red Sox fans, Blue Jays fans, Cubs fans, Giants fans, Dodgers fans,...etc.

When there’s 15k fans in the stadium and 10k of them are Yankees fans. Ya probably going to be louder.

The NY legacy teams always have a strong fan base on the road. Transplants, fan clubs, and vacation road trips usually insure their presence is heard.

I used to be a member of the NY Rangers fan club, and their road trips were things of legend. In the early-mid 90s, the NY Rangers had their home ice at Madison Square Garden, and the majority of the crowd for away games at NJ Devils, NY Islanders, Hartford Whalers, Florida Panthers, and TB Lightning.

They have the biggest fan base in the US (maybe in the world as well) and one of the strongest ones in the league (with Red Sox, Cubs, Cardinals, Giants, and Dodgers) 

Angels fan base isn't as strong as theirs + Yankee is a good team shooting for a WS title while Angels have been failing to make PS 4 straight seasons and they are already pretty much out of race this season.

When Angels become a contender, more fans will go to games and hopefully Angels fans can take over our home stadium

This didn't used to be the case but the Angels used to actually play well and gave the fans something to cheer about.   It's not that the Yankee fans didn't try to do their usual routines, but Angel fans would respond by drowning them out.   Its been a brutal start to the season.

I'll be at the game tonight. I'll post my findings in the morning. Yankee fans be extra loud and obnoxious tonight, since they'll be going for the 4 game sweep. Ass-bites!
