I'm not sure about that but you can be a conservative and be disgusted with the Republican Party. There is nothing wrong with being a moderate, Lib or a con. To each their own

First you say sorry can't be that but.. and then continue with you can be a moderate and a con.  Which is it?  You have all the answers.

I think you read it wrong

Likely did but if the point was I can't be a moderate and be an (R) then you are correct. No such thing anymore.  I still have the same conservative beliefs before the extremists blew up the party. Am I allowed to mention Trump?  I had a point somewhere but my clock quit working.

I agree with you here. Conservatism/Liberalism are foundational ideologies and should not be bound to a party and even less so to an elected official. A moderate is someone who has beliefs with both sides of the spectrum and there isn't anything wrong with that at all. People should vote for candidates that most reflect their values as opposed to assuming someone with an (R) next to their name is a Conservative.

Well said, really.  Remember I never said I was a moderate but someone else did and you helped me make sense of it. I have all my life voted for what I thinks is best for us both sides.  Unfortunately that is an impossibility now.  I always leaned (R) due to conservative values I thought they were upholding but getting pushed away.  I didn't vote for "my guy" last time.  First time I never voted for a POTUS since I turned 18.  The whole thing is trash now.

The plan to finally get Trump over the his classified documents has to be scrapped now

I believe Trump is about to be indicted in Georgia over the shenanigans he pulled during the election.

That said you know Obama and GW have had the shredder working overtime lately.

I'm surprised that don't know/unsure isn't larger than it is.

I don't see how anyone can answer "not sure."

The question is, "if the election... were held today" who would you vote for. Not that complicated. Make a choice.

If they were to ask, "who would you vote for in November 2024" I can see answering, not sure.
