Billy Eppler will not be the GM to get the Halos to the post-season, not with being so freaking cheap with the pen!!!!

He will get them to the precipice, but another GM who isn’t totally cheap with bullpens will hopefully get them over the freaking Hump!!!!

Yep.

It’s what mediocre teams that don’t do the little things well do. Like hit with runners in scoring position, score runs on 3rd with less than 2 outs, hold leads, keep games close, etc.

Totally. Goes to show you why Trout is so amazing. Constantly makes adjustments at the big league level. So many guys have the raw talent, but only know how to do it one way.

It would be super annoying, but if they could keep that exact pattern the rest of the year, I'd take it. 

Until the playoffs, that would not be good.

Nobody is saying that, everyone here can agree they have a solid core of players but their record in 1 run games and run differential scream regression. If they don’t than , that sucks. But they are pretty much on par with the Angels stat wise as a team.
