We're talking Cam Bedrosian?  He had one save opportunity in 2014 (10th inning in a game where freri was already used/gave up the lead),  none in 2015, and got his first career save in august 2016

In his second game he pitched the 8th inning of a tie game and shit the bed.  He was still put in a pressure situation pretty quickly.

He actually came in with us down 1, not a tie game. But yeah, he came in and promptly walked 4 guys.

My point is, Scioscia has never from what I can find broken in a guy the way he has Justin Anderson. All the guys mentioned in this thread (even K-rod), made their MLB debuts in non pressure spots. Justin Anderson comes in against Houston with a 2 run lead in the 8th inning like he's freakin Scot Shields already.

He did, but all 5 of his regular season appearances came in games we were losing at the time. He still dominated enough to earn a playoff roster spot thankfully.

He did.  He wasn't on the 40 man roster until then.  However I dont remember the conditions of his first game.

I mean, if we are throwing this guy up against Judge, Stanton, Altuve, Correa, etc etc, we might as well just make him the closer for now with Middleton on the DL, right?

With the stuff we've seen from him, in truth, he does seem like he could be our future closer anyway, so might as well give him a trial run now.

Great point!  I haven't said it yet, and maybe it's still too early, but Anderson is one bad mamma jamma.  Maybe he's the savior of the pen, like Parker was last year. Though Petit was a big factor as well.  Anyways, let this kid close.  He seems fearless.
