This implies that not only would the run have counted even if Gregorious hadn't tagged at third but we wouldn't even have to check the replay because it wouldn't have been close. 

A supposed rules expert associated with the Yankee broadcast team says that if Stanton was called out for leaving early then Gregorius should not have been allowed to score, whether he touched home plate first or not. That's what the guy said.

So all 4 umps on the field got it wrong? I find that hard to believe.
