Kluber is just insane. He seems impossible to hit for us.

Being down by a run to Kluber is like a deficit of three or four runs to an average pitcher, and it doesn't help when the umpire is favoring him.

If they aren't gonna hit Kluber can they at least try and make him work for his outs. 36 pitches through 3 has him well on track to easily go the distance

I agree. I have this thought whenever we face a true ace. After the first inning or so, the goal shouldn't really be getting a ton of hits. It should be protecting the strike zone as much as possible and making him work. Get him out of the game as soon as possible.

edit - especially the bottom of the lineup guys who are even less likely to get a hit.

tough when the dude gets 110% of the strike zone...find yourself in a hole real quick. Hell, that Pujols pich was 2-3 inches off the plate just now
