Reyes as s bench or platoon component. I don't think anyone here is lobbying for him to be in a feature role, though his play last season would seem to warrant it.

I'd rather have Jose Reyes at 6 million than Kinsler at 11. Reyes is a better defender, more versatile and doesn't say stupid crap or alienate his teammates nearly as often as Kinsler.

reyes is a better defensive 2b than kinsler? reyes was a negative value player last year offensively and defensively. the entire subject of reyes as anything more than a mif utility player is a serious credibility issue.

Eppler values defense up the middle though. I dont know how good reyes' glove is, but OJs glove doesnt even fit.
