The 34 year old Bellevue motorcycle officer was seriously injured during a collision Monday AM. The officer was traveling northbound on Bell Way when a white car struck the motorcycle.

To put all such numbers into perspective, other avoidable deaths include automobile accident fatalities (almost 39,000 in 2020 and estimated to be around 43,000 in 2021) and drug overdoses (over 93,000 in 2020 and over 107,000 in 2021).

I do not understand why the fentanyl deaths aren't being taken as serious as they should be. If you want to look at threat assessment, the issue isn't even close
