My favorite.

I have MLB.TV and watch a lot of baseball and hear a lot of different play by play guys, imo we are so lucky to have Victor.

I also like Buck Martinez (Jays play by play).

I hear this a lot from Angels fans that I talk to.

Everyone has the right to their own preference. I cannot stand Victor as an announcer. I have MLBTV too and I'd rank him near the bottom third. (White Sox the worst!)

Langston is actually one of my favorites.

Langston is not a PBP announcer, he's a commentator. I like him too.

While you have a right to your opinion, I believe your opinion is 100% wrong. :)

I have never met Victor in real life but his broadcasting comes across as honest. He is technically sound, clever when he has to be and/or wants to be, and provides clear, concise game action without overdoing it (or underdoing it for that matter).

Pleasant to watch and listen to. Glad he is on-board and hope he is here for a long time to come.

Huge fan of Vic's best PBP guy we have had in a long long time.  My buddy in Boston, hard core Red Sox prick first started watching Angels games cause of Trout, but he's always telling me he finds himself tuning in a lot of times because he's grown to like Victor so much, even more so after they cut loose Don Orsillo (who is great and does Padres games now).

There was a guy that took over from the minor leagues one game for a few innings that was just head and shoulders better than most play by play guys because he stayed with the game, with the count, had more interest in what was happening on the field and relayed that to the fans rather than prattle on about what barbeque joint he eats at.

Terry Smith oft times seems to forget he isn't doing a pre or post game show and ignores pitches thrown to gab with Langston. Gubicza just can't stop talking so Rojas often sounding awkward trying to divert attention back to the game.

All of these guys could be replaced by that minor league announcer going solo like Scully, sure wish I remembered his name.

You're not fooling us.  You like him because he's Cuban.:)
