Didn't Scioscia say that he would give Cowart "Most of the looks" or something and that Penny would "deserve to get some looks too" or something along those lines? 

 

Yeah. That 33 year old with a grand total WAR of 0.6 over the last 3 years and 236 games and 62 OPS+ screams deserving.

 

It's stuff like this that makes me think I won't miss Sosh as much as I think.

Oh please.  He's done nothing but rack ever since he was called back up.  He's also the best option right now. Scioscia just sucks as a manager and loves the P's(Pujols and Pennington)
