I'm still debating whether or not Kimbell is behind any of this or if she's just a bitch. Seems too easy and lazy for her to be in on it.

Spoiler

I would be surprised if the defense department guy that got fired is part of it.  He was pretty gung ho to go to war too quickly.  Like he had an agenda that needed to be fulfilled, possibly to cover tracks.

Also, the FBI guy.  Whenever someone says shhh, this is too big, we don't know who to trust.  That's usually code for do your investigation, only let me know since I'm in on it.  And if you uncover something, you will be Clintoned, and no one will be the wiser.

I thought for sure the FBI guy was going to off the agent that uncovered the bomb shelter missing plans.

March?    Why is it some other shows come back in January, but not this one?

Networks are not investing in an entire season of a new show in case it augers in ratings wise. So they shoot x amount of episodes and play a wait and see game. If it does well enough they ramp back up production and post is always months behind them in finishing.

So from hiatus to script approval and shoot you have a lot of time lost that isn't part of an established shows schedule. This isn't a bad turnaround, Game of Thrones takes almost a full year to pump out their short season and they are established shows with a following. You would think since they are not in a network cycle they would be faster on the following season.

Hopefully they'll start bringing in the old CTU gang: Chloe, Renee Walker, Tony Almeida, etc.

Apparently they're bringing Tony Almeida back in the "24: Legacy" series.
