I'm amazed that they were able to narrow it down to four and determine that they're all evil.

I'd like to think that if intelligent life is out there, they're far more intelligent that we are and took one look at Earth and were like, "Eh, I'd rather not get involved."

Or they may feel we do not deserve the planet anymore

that's because most christians believe earth is the only planet where sin exists.

"For God so loved the world." It would have interesting implications for the Gospel if intelligent life were found elsewhere in the universe.

because of sin, i don't think it's within our grasp to find it anywhere else. you'd be mixing our sinful environment with those who don't know sin. therefore, i don't think it will ever happen (until after the second coming). in the same way that christians believe angels are all around us at all times but we are unable to see them, i believe there's some sort of shroud that prevents us from being able to find intelligent life elsewhere as long as there is sin in the universe.

God invented sin, man just discovered it after the fact.

i'm going to disagree.

God created all of His beings with free will. It was to prevent anyone from feeling that their devotion to God was required as opposed to being a choice.

Sin came into existence when Lucifer made the decision that he wanted equality with God. He lived in heaven and by all accounts was the highest ranked angel. The only ones with a higher position than him were God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. When he didn't get the outcome he desired, he rebelled. Sin came into existence at that point.

"For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High”' (Isaiah 14:12-14).

Sure, but what about the one ring to rule them all?

What is your opinion on Midi-chlorians and their relevance to an individuals connection with The Force?

And the Dark Lord Sauron sayeth, to his disciple Saruman of Many Colors: "Build me an army, worthy of Mordor". And Saruman did heed this commandment, and built a grand army in His image.

So I have seen most of the movies and have not read any of the books. If I recall, I believe the midi-chlorians were first talked about in the Phantom Menace. This was when Obi-Wan had first discovered Anakin and he made a reference to the levels of Midi-chlorians. It’s apparent that they have a symbiotic relationship so obviously the more midi-chlorians in this relationship than the more in tune the individual is with the force. I would wanna know why they chose to be so prominent in Anakin
