Can't wait for hockey season where I know the Ducks are never out of the playoff race, even if they're in last halfway through the season.

In the injury story on the Angels front page that focuses on Street, Scioscia praises Cron's progress in rehab but said he needs more ABs to see how his healing injury handles the load before he's back.

It is considered a record for losses within a single season. The 13-game streak covers the end of 88 and the beginning of 89.
