student pissed off about his grade so he murders the professor, who's married with 2 young children.

have had a couple of 8th graders that really stressed over nearly every single point this last semester as they battled to earn high honors for graduation. fortunately none of them were dangerous, though one of them was a boy who has been gradually "coming out" this year and has faced a lot of stress about a lot of things this year, including an emo phase he went through recently.

He kills a woman in Minnesota, then drives to L.A. and murders the professor. L.A. Times also mentions he left a note at the scene at UCLA asking someone to check on his cat. Lunatic.

The 2nd professor luckily wasn't on campus when the shooter arrived. Apparently the shooter was heavily armed with another gun and multiple clips in his backpack.

I'm pretty sure a cat was seen fleeing the scene. Don't rule out an accomplice.

Obviously the reason for the shooting is not the norm  (I hope) but pretty sad in this day and age that a teacher might have to think twice about giving a bad grade to a student.

Reports I'm hearing now is something about the psycho thinking that the professor gave his idea to another student or something along those lines. 

What kind of monster kills the ex wife, the professor(s) that wronged him, and leaves the cat to live.

i worry that things like this will have the gun advocates pushing harder and harder for teachers to be strapped. i don't like that idea.
