Changes are a coming...Offline at times on 5/4/2016

Well, not for the Angels but for our community here. 

 

Yep, it's time for an upgrade again.

 

Sometime in the next couple days you will see a significant upgrade to the forum. 

 

If you'd like to see what's coming here's a couple links that show all the new feature enhancements and improvements to our community.

The blue is temporary dudes

First impression. Not loving it. Maybe it's the blue or maybe it's the wasted line space between threads which makes you scroll a lot to see what is new content. Seems more like a graphic artist concept than user design.

and the circles for avatars is just dumb, cuts off a lot of whatever picture is chosen. Again, artist not user inspired.

Seriously. Read the entire thread. 

The upgrade was for all the latest and greatest modern shit. I still have to redesign the forum. Blue is temporary, it will  be red. Our logo will be back and so will the ads. 

One step at a time. I should have the forum reskinned by EOD tonight.

In fact, even though the upgrade is still running. There are several processes still running in the background -- so technically the upgrade is not 100% complete. 

Just be patient with me peeps.

Just noticed my new username disappeared and I went back to the old one. Will this change back once the updates are complete?

It kept only the login names, not the display names. You can change it though in your profile page.

As you can see, there's a ton of processes still running that are not yet complete.

After like 7 bourbons, and 3 cigars.  The forum will be pink, and in Japanese.  Oddly, whenever you open the forum, it will be Chuck's daughter singing some anime song, and a bunch of pokemen hitting baseballs will be flying around.  We will be confused not because it is pink, in Japanese, with Chuck's daughter singing an anime song or the pokemen, but because something on the Angels is making contact with a baseball.
