I got to see the Grace/Cat combo just before they blew up, with 50 of my closest friends in a bar in Las Vegas.  The crowd and venue were small enough that interactions between the band and the crowd was intense.  Yet, despite this, the band played like they were in front of 10,000 fans.  I had followed GPTN for a few years at that point.  I even have a couple of copies of the first CD she ever did which are not even available anymore and are going for upwards of $300 on EBay the last time I checked.
