Geno was apparently leaving New York last night and going home. Woke up this morning and decided to stay in New York. Would have to think somebody with an early pick tonight told him to hang around

I think he was leaving because he was mad he didn't get drafted in rd 1 when there was a decent chance that would be the case.  Odds are he won't last through rd 2 and the knock on him was that he was immature for saying he wouldn't be back for day 2.

Yeah, the kids head was in his lap from after the bills took EJ until he realized there was 0 chance he was getting picked and that wasnt until the vikes pick, i think i saw him get up and leave after that.

Seems like Sosh walked his way over to my other favorite organization and screwed them royally tonight. Panthers take Star in the first so with a bunch of other needs like WR C S they take another DT. Brain dead.

Well there ya go. Packers finally do end up with Lacy, but at the end of the 2nd round. Can't argue with the value there. I'm worried about his durability/injury issues, but at least in GB he won't be needed to carry the load but to just complement Rodgers.

Great value forsure cant complain there. Really wonder if Keenans Allen knee is toast, i cant believe hes fallen this far. Really mad carolina didnt take him or swearinger. Anyone you hope the packers get in the draft this weekend?

With their 3rd I'm still hoping for a NT or some OL depth. They also need another WR but there are still quite a few of them I like, so I think they can wait until tomorrow

Lol GB trades down 3 times today and now has 10 picks tomorrow. I expect them to trade up a few times tomorrow since they won't have room for all 10 of those picks

Yeah, wonder if GB might have wanted Bailey at 93 and then traded down once the Rams took him at 92. Either way, Rams doing good to give Bradford some weapons

 

I really like what the SAints did in RD3. Took freakish athletic LT Terron Armstead who will be their replacement for Bushrod, then took the massive NT John Jenkins to help anchor their DLine as they transition to the 3-4.

My friends a huge saints fan and i literally just finished telling him i would have rather had his draft than mine. I think they did a great job as well. I just wish carolina would give Cam some weapons on the outside 89 aint getting any younger and we need to find his replacement. What u think of da'rick rodgers? Hoping maybe carolina takes him or Rambo (best name in the draft) tomorrow in the 4th

This is a good WR class IMO, might be why the Panthers have waited. Rogers has all the measurables you want in a WR. I actually like LaFell for the Panthers. He was flashing some of his promise last season, so they have one on the roster who I like. As you said though, gotta find a replacement for Smith who is up there in age

 

top 2 available are Rogers and Patton. I also like Kenny Stills

Yeah but i dont think lafells a number 1. Hes so much better when he lines up in the slot. Ginn and Hixon were nice signings but nothing special. But yeah rogers is an interesting pick, some people say hes the best WR in the class but has a million character concerns. Atleast tomorrow should be a fun day for you, Packers will be busy.

It was funny to see all the teams bringing up former players and having them announce the picks....and they couldn't get the players names right
