Stoked for Howie, he came up big when the team needed him to. Loved his emotion as he rounded the bases and came home, then after when he was high-fiving everyone.  He looked pumped, which is nice to see every once in a while from him.

Sorry but- clutch hit, low stress AB does not make this guy a clutch hitter.

Why you ask?  Because the rangers wont throw anything near the plate in that situation and Howie will end up hacking at everything and get himself out like he always does in pressure spots.

Bases loaded with 2 outs in 40 plate apearences Kendrick has struck out only 9 times.  I will leave it to you to search his entire career to find that extra innings game.

I absolutely cringed and held my breath. Coming down on a wrist, elbow, or forearm can lead to an injury. That said, what a spectacular and clutch play. I'd say that was a difference maker.
