You brought meaningless gestures which I have said from the beginning Trump's impeachment trial was.

Pretty basic actually.

Tank said meaningless gesture. My post was in response to what Cruz can do that wasn't a meaningless gesture. Your post about the impeachment has nothing to do with anything.

I'm working remotely in my home studio in San Dimas since before the pandemic, which many of my coworkers in the Industry believe is located in another country. I'm still in LA County. If I could get instant data transfer of media files to Virginia I'd be working out of Roanoke right now. We have a coupe of editors that were working remotely from Mexico, Canada and one in Hawaii this last year. I have a post coordinator that is working remotely from Colorado right now, when he isn't skiing.

So, yeah, your point is so well constructed I can't dispute it.

Would you sneak away without telling the people you were accountable to, then when you got caught, lie about how you were just "escorting" your family down for a day (when you were planning to stay for several days before you got caught)?

It is an easy out for him so he doesn't have to admit that progressive laws have been a fail there.

If I defended California Dems, you would say I'm being a partisan shill. If I don't defend them, you say it's an easy out.

I just don’t see what the difference is between progressives and California progressives.  Can you explain it?

I think the majority of Democrats aren't really progressive. The only California politician I like is Katie Porter.

You can point to the mayor of LA or whatever, but just because a policy seems progressive doesn't mean it's implemented correctly.

I don't think conservatives will stand up for the "conservative" politicians in deep red states that keep their residents in perpetual poverty.

They are all progressives so I am a little surprised that you wouldn’t

Yes and no.  I’d say most California Dems are demonic neoliberal spawns of hell.

Katie Porter I think you could fairly describe as a “progressive” a guy like Ted Liu I would say is mostly not.

I can’t really think of any state level officials that are obviously “progressives”  and there aren’t any leftists like Sanders or even AOC.  Nithya Ramen (she rocks)  is a city councilman in LA.  Only leftist I can really think of.  Obviously that’s a city politician.  I’m not sure if she even ran as a dem.

being upset because he took his family out of state to survive this storm is the equivalent of being pissed when a president goes to play golf on a saturday instead of staying in the oval office.

I sure hope a president is not out golfing during a national emergency.

Clearly Teddy heard about that sweet wifi in Mexico so he did nothing for two days while he traveled.

I would look at the bills they write and sign into laws to determine if they are progressives or not.
