Gott is a rookie and Salas is a veteran. Guy pitched in the ALDS last year and served up a killer HR in extras. Dude knows how to pitch in these environments

I don't think tonight is a good indication of the kind of pitcher he is. He definitely overachieved in the 1st half and was due for some regression

 

His issue is his wonky mechanics cause him to go through these spells where he's all over the place with it. Last few starts he's struggling.
