He has been my biggest surprise this season. Awesome to see this, I hope he can keep it up.

It's only the 2 outs syndrome that has been his undoing so far in 2015.

Otherwise, he is pitching like a #3 starter.

Really worried that he was slipping into a 5 inning guy and an inconsistent one at that....but he has settled in nicely....if he keeps it up and Skaggs comes back strong next year, the Trumbo trade could end up being a big winner....Too early to tell but Trumbo/Conger both could be very good trades for DiPoto....

Other than every start of his being bullpen night, he's been very good for the Angels.

Good thing the pitching is good.   I'm not yet ready to write off the offense.  They have faced a lot of upper echelon pitching and they have spent the bulk of the season in pitcher's parks.  So far this year 28 of their 34 games have come in Anaheim, Seattle, Oakland and SF.  They've also had the joy of facing Felix, Sonny Gray, Dallas Keuchel, Nick Martinez at least twice each .... the highest ERA allowed by any of those guys is 1.85.  They've also faced Feldman slayer of Angels twice...  He may suck .vs everyone else but he's joined Bud Norris as the new Brad Radke when it comes to Angels domination.  Speaking of Norris, they get to face him this weekend... ohhhh the horror.

 

Hopefully they come alive in some of the better hitting environments.  At least Aybar seems to be waking up.
