Scioscia is preparing to tip his cap to and move on from Hamilton.

There is little doubt Scioscia would want a performing Hamilton starting over Joyce or Cowgill.

We all would strad, but i think sosh also isnt pleased with how hamilton has handled the whole thing.

Remember in pujols' first spring training, his phone went off, and sosh fined him a decent amount of money? Doubt the skipper is too forgiving for a guy who wasnt even planning to come to speing training all together

No Sosh wants guys that are good chemistry guys that compete, Hamilton wasn't able to repeat his former success. When I look at their current roster I see five offensive guys on the team I would call Sosh type players, Trout, Kole, Cowgill, Aybar and Little Johnny G. I could be missing a couple but he likes those guys that run through walls and do the little things well, like going first to third, hitting and running, and play good defense.

The departure of Hamilton is probably for the best moving forward. Scioscia doesn't need all of the media circus drama in the clubhouse. There are 25 other guys to think about.
