Hah yeah.  Even more annoying is leaving a huge spot of land open for eggs.  All of my buildings are clumped together and it drives me crazy.

I wonder how late whacking day will go. There are rumors that the next update will contain a "yard sale" that allows us to purchase discontinued items.

I decided to go a bit nerd.  But for those getting more and more expensive plots of land.  The per square cost can be quite important.  

 

Per square.

 

Per straight 24 hours

 

Brown House 7x5 = 35 squares.   5 min 6 cash x 288 = 1728 /35 = 49.37 per square

White House 4x6 = 24 squares.  12 hours 200 cash x 2 = 400 / 24 = 16.66 per square

Blue House  4x8 = 32 squares.  8 hours 150 cash x 3 = 450 / 32 = 14.06 per square

Purple House 6x7 = 42 sqaures.  3 hours 75 cash x 8 = 600 / 42 = 14.28 per square

Orange House 4x8 = 32 squares.  16 hours  250 cash x 1.5 = 375 / 32 = 11.71 per square

Pink House 5x8 = 40 squares 6 hours 110 cash x 4 = 440 /40 = 11 per square

 

Per adjusted 24 hours.  Check 4 times an hour max.  16 hours a day.

 

 

 

White House 4x6 = 24 squares.  12 hours 200 cash x 2 = 400 / 24 = 16.66 per square  - assuming no time lost

Brown House 7x5 = 35 squares.   5 min 6 cash x 64 = 384 /35 = 10.97 per square

Purple House 6x7 = 42 sqaures.  3 hours 75 cash x 6 = 450/ 42 = 10.71 per square

Blue House  4x8 = 32 squares.  8 hours 150 cash x 2 = 300 / 32 = 9.375 per square - Too tiring to do on a regular basis of 3x a day

White House 4x6 = 24 squares.  12 hours 200 cash x 1 = 200 / 24 = 8.33 per square  - time lost

Pink House 5x8 = 40 squares 6 hours 110 cash x 3 = 330 /40 = 8.25 per square

Orange House 4x8 = 32 squares.  16 hours  250 cash x 1 = 250 / 32 = 7.81 per square

Brown House 35 squares x 10.97 per square = 383.95 / 355 Cost = 0.924 Days

Purple House 42 sqaures x 10.71 per square = 449.82 / 1100 Cost = 2.44 Days

Blue House  32 squares x 9.375 per square = 300 / 1800 Cost = 6 days

Pink House 40 squares x 8.25 per square = 330 / 3400 Cost = 10.30 Days

White House 24 squares x 16.66 per square = 399.84 / 7700 Cost = 19.25 Days

Orange House 32 squares x 7.81 per square = 249.92 / 24500 Cost = 98.03 Days

 

Adjust to your playstyle.  And you will be able to find what the best house for your time will become.

I tried to double like this post. I have unlocked both Skips Diner and the Prison but don't have the dough for either one. Please tell me that making money gets easier as I level up. I did hear that once you reach level 22 that a cost multiplier is added to quest buildings. Is this true?

Most of the stuff I get now at level 23-24 is about 56k.

 

If you build about 72 brown houses you get about 500 per 5 minutes.  I have my iPad plugged in and turned off the auto lock setting so I just sit here and tap the houses when the dollar signs show up.  Even with building 50-100k of buildings every day or every other day I still have 100k left over.  Also doing 1 hour missions if you can helps.

Yes and no.  I can make about 50k a day right now.  But I'm spending as fast as I make it.  Plus I'm in a transition now from Blue Houses to White houses.  For every 3 blue houses, I can have 4 white houses on the same plot of land.  And with land prices shooting up to 33k a plot, having more on less makes more sense.  

 

I think the last building I bought, City Hall was in the close to 50k.  So the prices are definitely going up.

I do the 1 hour missions when I'm not at work and those do help. I guess I'll put up a few more brown houses and see if that helps. Gotbeer has thought this out much better than I have. You know this is Tobias' fault for turning me on to this game!

Just got the update. 24 year anniversary yard sale. Agnes Skinner was added too.

Update didn't fix the disconnect issue.  Nice to have whacking day over with.  Spread my buildings out some.  Town still looks like a mess but at least it is better than before.

Burns Manor costs 96k and takes up a ton of space.  Fortunately I still had a 9100 expansion.

I have 72 brown houses.  I have the iPad with the screen always on.  It comes out to about $500 per 5 minutes.  Assuming I check on average 9 times every hour that 4.5k per hour plus what I get from everyone on one hour missions.
