I have lots of houses and am doing one hour missions and I still cant keep up with the cost of all the buildings.  Police station costs 40k.  Granted I wasted 5k on the stupid dog races and I spent some money on expansion and some more brown houses but still 16k short of the PD more than 12 hours since I was able to build it.

I keep about 100k on me all the time.  I moved on to all blue houses now from brown houses.  Not a pretty city yet, but it keeps me afloat.  

 

Looking at your city nate, you need a lot more houses.  I'd fill up those empty slots with houses, and expand and put more houses up.

Thanks again Nate. If I have all of the 9th, then I got a chance. Can't believe I rack up 500 snakes and 150 eggs daily. It helps working 3rd shift, plenty of time to play.

At the size of your town, you should still have 2400 plots and the 5400? plots left.  At least I think you should.

Yeah there are a couple of the 2100 ones it looks like one 5400 one.  Just the ones that make the most sense are 9100 I guess.

Have any of you guys won at the track? I've played over 5 times and have yet to win.

I used to only bet on the long shot and won once every 4 times. Then I didn't win 10 times in a row and quit. I hear the 2-1 odd pays most frequently. That's just what I've read online, so take it with a grain of salt.

I bet on it once and blew it off.  Considering the odds you are never going to make money betting consistently.
