This could be what finally brings Hillary down

Recommended Posts

I dunno, man.  Seems wonky to me.  Ever since email was a thing (god, I'm gettin' old) I've had some sort of official email address on which to conduct official business.  This just doesn't feel right.

That said, I do agree with your third paragraph.

My understanding is this is not necessarily uncommon. Colin Powell also used a private email (retention restrictions are more strict now).

But you have to scratch your head about the political naivety of Clinton and her advisers. They have to know there are rules for Clinton, and rules for everybody else. Every step the Clinton's take is watched like a hawk...her husband's presidency should have been proof enough of that. What in the hell were they thinking? It reminds me a lot of her first campaign where they just ignored what was happening around them and just assumed they were right because they were the Clintons. I can imagine dozens of house/senate investigations between now and 2016. Is Mark Penn still advising her? Geesh.

edit: And I seriously doubt this "takes her down". She hasn't even announced a candidacy yet.

i like her total denial of ever having worked for the law firm in the whitewater real estate deal.

then, billing receipts for the same law firm in the same case mysteriously appeared in the white house.

hilliary billed the clients in the case for over 60 hours.

a totally amoral, sociopathic liar.

"Mr. Blanton said high-level officials should operate as President Obama does, emailing from a secure government account, with every record preserved for historical purposes.

"Personal emails are not secure,” he said. “Senior officials should not be using them.”

The revelation about the private email account echoes longstanding criticisms directed at both the former secretary and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, for a lack of transparency and inclination toward secrecy.

two thoughts about this: because personal emails are not secure, they could rather easily be intercepted by a third party, and that raises security concerns. the other thought is that because they're personal, she or her aides can delete them, and that's no different than shredding documents.

i'd like to hope this will bring her down, but the media loves the idea of her running for president, so i doubt much becomes of it. but yeah, it's just another log on her fire of secrecy.

LOL at thinking anything would ever "bring Hillary down". You think the majority of voters know anything about the candidate they vote for aside from their race/gender/party?

No but they know they hate Hillary.
