Angels Official Website: Signups for 2015 MLB.TV are underway

It's blackouts for home teams, not games. You wouldn't get any Angels games in LA/OC.

It also black out Las Vegas.  Not worth it to me.  I don't get the black out rule.  Doesn't the station that owns the television rights send the stream to MLB?  Just show commercials and let the TV station get their revenue.

The territorial system is terrible, but their financial motives are obvious. Baseball is flush with cash because of regional sports networks. The networks are willing to pony up that cash because live sports are the one area that Netflix and Amazon can't beat them and it keeps an awful lot of people paying lots of money for channels they don't watch. They aren't investing in the sport, but in the continuation of their business model.

That is where I live so it is worthless. I can watch them on TV at home but at work the game would be blacked out on my laptop. That makes the package somewhat worthless since away eastern time zone games are the only ones I would need to stream.

I get the reason for the rule, they want to force sports fans to buy a pricey cable TV package with hundreds of channels they don't need. That's why cable networks have bid so much for exclusive rights to air sports which is what funds the big free agent contracts.

Problem with MLB's implementation is there are a lot of places where teams are both blacked out on streaming, and not avaialable from the cable company for purchase either.

I usually just dodge the blackouts with a VPN myself.
