Mind blowing how fast Pujols has fallen, I remember a couple years ago he was number one for a couple seasons in a row I believe.

He's only the second best outfielder in the NL

I'm just trying to understand how Gomez is 7th overall, when his NL OPS was only 12th best and NL WAR only 17th best.

He and Pujols weren't that much different, except for 34 SBs for Gomez and playing a more demanding position.

Position scarcity. There's only a handful of elite outfielders and he steals a lot of bases as well and is in a good lineup and hitter friendly park
