This is strictly a fantasy ranking, right?

So defense and advanced stats aren't taken into account.

 

Basically, the rankings are pointless.

Like.....I doubt anyone would take Albert Pujols(49) over Joey Votto(89) in real life.

 

Just thought I'd clear that up since you seem to be ignoring the context of the rankings.

I agree with that. Machado has injury issues and he's not a great hitter anyway

 

 

You can say the same about Headley. Dude is always suffering from a nagging injury that hampers his production.

 

 

Machado has a way higher ceiling and raked before he went down.

Ya but at least headley stays in the lineup. Machado might go down for 50+ games and force you dumpster dive in the waiver wire and pray someone gets hot.

Doesn't matter though.

 

Using the same format as the MLB fantasy rankings, which doesn't focus on anything outside of the player's value going into the 2015 season.
