They are always close (runners on base, pitchers get to 2 outs in the inning)

 

 

But they don't play winning ball.. at all

 

They can't close innings and can't cash in runners

I was really looking forward to this season, but seriously so far I haven't really enjoyed one game. My blood pressure is through the roof every game... I wish I didn't care so much.

Except that it keeps us from having two outs, so that when Trout inevitably Ks, Callaspo still gets an opportunity to hit. I trust him more than Trout right now.

They built this team around flyball pitchers because of their elite OF defense

 

only problem is, the OF D can't catch the balls that are hit out of the park. This team is going to be serving up a ton of HR's
