it's kind of ironic how rigid MS has been with the lineup in the early going, compared to other years.

He has a Career .701 OPS which isn't great, but Romine doesn't even have 50 PA in the bigs. I don't mind seeing Harris in there tonight and I'm sure both of them will get a shot to play depending on how long Aybar is out.

Harris is probably getting the start since Milone is a left hand pitcher and Romine bats left. Also Blanton is a flyball pitcher so I guess they don't see the need for stronger infield defense tonight. That being said, this is why you have Romine on the roster. He is a natural SS. Excellent defender. He is not going to hit much but neither will Harris. In theory we have a bunch of guys that can do that. If Romine isn't going to play in this situation, when will he?

They are pretty much the same player (Harris & Romine) I honestly don't think it really matters which guy starts.

Amazing what seeing Harris' name in the lineup does for the optics of it alone. A W tonight to go along with a Rangers loss would be a real nice kick in the pants
