Torii is a DH only type guy now. His defense was atrocious last season. Some team will pay him 10 mil to be a veteran presence and be an above average offensive performer. With the tight budget the Angels have, this doesn't seem likely.

Literally the worst idea I've seen from anyone this entire offseason. Hunter is Ibanez-esque in the field now, making him a pure DH. And a pretty crappy one of those too.

 

Let some scrub team pay him a couple of million in the hope he catches fire for a month or so. But hell, Cron is a significantly better player than Hunter at this point...and I'm no huge fan.
