I think the same can be said for Calolfornia.  We could use some new refineries to phase out the old ones, but who in their right mind would invest when you have a clear sunset coming.

It's weird how Calolfornia and the west has shunned nuclear.  People will say earthquakes.  But it's not like the right of the Rockies doesn't have it's fair share of tornados, hurricanes, and freezes that can knock a nuclear plant out.
