It looked like the 2B slowed the ball down just enough so that Pujols had the time to reach third.

Props to Hamilton as well on that hit. Not only is he hitting much better lately, he's striking out less as well lately (10 for 32 with just 5 Ks).

Guilty, but then again so were many of us.

In Jepsen's case, his emergence is something seldom seen, breaking out with the same team he's spent 12 seasons in the org with.

Usually when someone is unable to get it together after that long with one org, they end up moving on.

Jepsen has persevered, and for that he deserves big props.

I agree.  I hope Jepsen rubs off on some of the other players who could perform better......

I'm still worried though at the most critical moment of the season or post-season, the clock is going to strike midnight and he's going to turn back into Kevin Jepsen.
