A's               59-36
ANGELS      57-37
M's              51-44
'Stros           40-56
Rangers       38-57

HALOS are playing great (Don Baylor influence?) and are within a game of Oakland. After Trout & Aybar run around in Minnesota Tuesday - It's back to business...and the team better be ready:

HOME vs teams with a combined 31 games over .500
3 vs. SEA
3 vs. East Leading BALT
4 vs. Central leading DET

THEN...

3 @ BALT
3 @ Tampa
then 4 (2 @ Big A, 2 @ The Toilet) vs. NL West leading DODGERS

Tampa is the only team below .500. That's 20 games. By August 8th - when Boston comes to town, we'll see where we're at.

REVISED:

A's               64-39
ANGELS      63-41
M's              54-51
'Stros           42-63
Rangers       41-63

HALOS are playing great (Don Baylor influence?) and are within a game of Oakland. After Trout & Aybar ran around in Minnesota - Halos got back to business, picked up HOUSTON STREET...and the team seemed to be ready:

HOME vs teams with a combined 31 games over .500 at start of homestand:
3 vs. SEA (Won 2 of 3)
3 vs. East Leading BALT (Won 1 of 3)
4 vs. Central leading DET (Won 3 of 4) - 6 of 10 TOTAL (could have been 8 of 10...)

NOW...

3 @ BALT - STILL is first place
3 @ Tampa - 9 game win streak snapped Sunday
then 4 (2 @ Big A, 2 @ The Toilet) vs. NL West leading DODGERS

Tampa is the only team below .500 (but they are playing very well). That's 10 games.

By August 8th - when Boston comes to town, we'll see where we're at...

The Toilet will have Greinke and Kershaw in the lineup card.

Well - here we are...

A's        70 - 44

Halos    67 - 47

M's       60 - 54

Astros   47 - 68

TEX      45 - 69

10-10...

Nothing gained...2 games lost. Oakland has had a softie schedule...but I think the last 3 games of this march thru hell was on the arm of David Freese...whose bad throws (along with Jeff Mathis Jr.) cost us game 2 vs. the Doyers

Halos win in Kershaw's start...they don't lose 2-1 or 7-0.

NEXT UP: 3 vs. Boston- who has traded away their team (sorta), 2 vs. the Phils who stink, and then Texas who is stinkier...then 4 games in Chowd Town.

12 games before seven against Oakland.

Should get interesting...

Angels need to go 10-2 or at least 9-3 in this stretch. These are all very winnable games and the type of games they've been winning all year. All three of those teams are in last place in their division. Have to feast on them.

I'm thinking 8-4 minimum, asking a team to play .750 ball or better is asking to be disappointed.

I would be disappointed if the team lost tonight with Weaver on the mound. Boston will throw a pitcher out there with almost a 7.0 era tonight.

Two Points:

1.) Weaver is not the same Weaver...

and

2.) Any pitcher with an above 5 ERA...the Halos turn into Cy Young...or Dan Haren of Wednesday night...
