Wow, was the bullpen impressive or what?? Iannetta is the star offensively and totally made up for his bases loaded K earlier in the game.

That was a helluva game! Just feels great to start off the season with a win like that. That being said, however, when u stop & think about how Ianetta was our only offense, its a little worrisome. Nada from Trout, Trumbo, Pujols & Hamilton! Starting to get a little tired of that.  When r they gonna turn it around?!!

Iannetta = team MVP (caught 13 innings and hit all the RBIs)

Trout = new "Fat Mathis" batting 0.167 

Aybar = team goat (0-6, 1 error [officially])

Bourjos = best slugger on the team

This was the Angels version of an April Fools Joke. Pitching showed up and hitting was attrocious.

I really hate to bring this up, but.....

This game waseerily reminiscent of last year's opener. I really, really, really hope this was an abhoration and the Angels can string together enough offense to score.

They set themselves up for a big inning 3 times, and finally cashed in late in extras. They won't have those kinds of second chances often this season.

id give em a few games before you start to worry...important thing is we won.

there will be plenty of other games where trout, trumbo, pujols, and hamilton will carry this offense...
