Beating the mighty Reds and only giving up 3 hits in 13 innings is a very impressive way to start the season. Pitching wins championships and for this I am pumped!

It felt a bit like a playoff game.  The bullpen was just gritty.  While our offense seemed determined not to win the bullpen guys seemed more determined not to lose.

Coming into the season I was worried about the pen. I know the offense will be there so this game left me believing the pen is capable of getting their act together.

The Jedi was right about C.I. AND catching 13 innings gets him a gold star on his man card!! Trout Pujols & Hammy will be there. Most impressed with the bully ballers!! BOOM! Way to keep that door shut until we could break down theirs

It was a great game - loved how strong the pen was! Also seeing Weave start out with not his best stuff and find a groove to keep us in the game shows why he is the ace - nice to see Ianetta be the offensive hero - when we win without any major offense from our big 3 it shows that this team is well rounded and that anyone can come through and help us win - great game !
