That's because guys like Howie Kendrick can't be "burdened" to look over the scouting data in advance.  And Scioscia and Dipoto don't have the balls to make everybody do it.

Embarrassing all the times the Angels strike out looking -- as if they have no clue what pitches are thrown by A's pitchers. 

 

Really no excuse for this.  They need to stop the video games and turn the $%^ music off to spend more time studying scouting reports before games.
