if we kill this next one, gotta watch the play right AFTER the kill and back at full strength......how many times have you seen a team have a successful tough penalty kill only for the other team to then score as soon as teams are back at full strength......now 4 on 4 skating -- dumb penalty by Hawks........

And there it is. A odd man rush for the Kings turns into an odd man rush for the Blackhawks a pp goal.

geez -- we're not getting the breaks --- four or five power plays for Chicago -- a no stick for Quick goal --

 

we needed to be perfect and lucky to win this game and we're neither........

 

Kings are playing pretty well but need to play even better AND be getting the breaks to beat these guys on their ice.

At least a 1 goal deficit doesn't mean much with a period to go.

did not like the way the second period ended.......

 

game momentum from Kings 3-3 tying goal turned quickly the last three minutes of the game.

well, my thinking was if we were tied or down one going into the third period in this game, it would be a tough climb......

 

we can't keep coming back only to give it up again -- that's been the story of  Games 5 & 6 letting the Blackhawks get here to Game 7........

 

we need the breaks and we're clearly NOT getting them......not sure if that luck is going to change in the third quarter.....

 

we need a power play or two for us now........

I don't under stand the Lewis penalty

They didn't really show a replay of it either.

Welp least we don't have the lead heading into the 3rd....

Bottom line both teams are playing with a ton of heart

Kings with only 4 shots in the 2nd vs the 16 by Hawks. This easily could have been a 2 plus goal deficit.

Going into the Conference Finals, the Canadians were the top scoring team. Rangers beat them 4-2 by shutting down their offense. Although the Hawks/Kings are going toe to toe, they are giving up wayyyy too many goals. This gives the Rangers a chance to take the Cup. Now if the West Finals were low scoring, then the Rangers wouldn't have stood a chance.

NY doesn't have a chance. They haven't faced a team as good as these 2 these playoffs. The Hawks/Kings are giving up the goals because they are each playing that well. NY will lose in 5

If I were a NY fan, I wouldn't want to play either one of these teams.......

 

if Chicago wins, Blackhawks in 4 over Rangers.

 

If Kings win, Kings in Five over Rangers.

if fact, the winner of this game should be dumped into the loser's bracket to play the Rangers and then the winner of that series plays the winner of WC for the Cup ---

 

that would mean a re-match of this series......

 

that's about where the EC stands in contrast to the WC.
