Considering Chuck was complaining about Stewart too, I find his comments funny. Also, Trout is probably a DH due to the turf. Scioscia doesn't like his guys to play three days straight on the turf in the outfield

Are people seriously worried about Trout? The K's are concerning, but this seems to be his first prolonged slump in two years up at the bigs. He will be fine. Is it more frustration than concern?

 

Slight concern, but mostly frustration. If the K's keep up, he won't be hitting .300+ like he has done the past 2 years. It's just unexpected to see him whiffing this much considering he's never shown it throughout his career(both in the minors and in MLB). I still expect him to fix it, but I keep waiting for it to happen. Just weird to see this from him is all

in any case, with it being the 7th inning and the team up 6, now would have been a good time to bring McDonald in anyway to play 3B and improve the defense a bit

Arm fatigue I would guess. He's at 100 pitches and he's no spring chicken. Lot of wear and tear on that arm.
