The last time Pujols had at least 9 homeruns in the month of April, he had what was arguably the best season of his entire career.

Team is on pace to threaten the MLB record of 264 HRs (1997 M's), and of course break the franchise record of 236 HRs in 2000.

Now that I said that, 7 game HR drought for sure

And I will eat crow, only saying that while yes the injuries held Pujols back, it was hard not to be worried about his future.

But now, he's playing like he did in 2010 (most recent super season).

Even more ridiculous -- since he hit his first HR on the 8th, he has just 4 Ks.  .339/.414/.806 in that stretch.
