I like Ibanez. I think he could provide some much needed player leadership and mentoring. No price can be put on professionalism, work ethic, and good character.


Then how do you sign anybody then?


Don't you at some point, like, have to put a price on it?  :P

I think they should have given 24 year old CJ Cron a chance at DH. Anyone can DH. We can cross off Ibanez as a tradable commodity at the deadline.

I'm not sure Cron is ready. A few good Spring Training at bats doesn't mean he's ready for full time at bats at the big league level. 


Maybe he can be a platoon partner later in the year at DH.
