I think they should have given 24 year old CJ Cron a chance at DH. Anyone can DH. We can cross off Ibanez as a tradable commodity at the deadline.

As long as he DH's mainly against righties to keep the number of games played realistic (say 120), this could be a good one year contract.

I'm not sure Cron is ready. A few good Spring Training at bats doesn't mean he's ready for full time at bats at the big league level. 

 

Maybe he can be a platoon partner later in the year at DH.
