Yeah I don't see a situation where the team is comfortable with Romine as the starting SS, regardless of who Aybar brings back.

Crazy thing about this thread. So many of the proposals back then were "yeah right, no team would give up that package for trout". Then reading the same names today....

There isn't ANY package that would tempt me because such a trade would bring such a horrible energy to this team and fan base, and you don't want that, no matter how enticing the package.

Again, funny to read these. (Not making fun of anyones proposals). Its easy to go back to 2013 and see us as being homers, pitching ridiculous asking prices for trout. Then you read the proposals, and realize how poorly those trades would have been. (Although the marlins one may have been nice... if fernandez was alive and living up to projections).
