Kid toys today suck!! I have made an effort to throw away all the talking BS toys you find at target. These do all the thinking for the child. I have tried to find all the toys made of wood, or use imagination instead of stimulation. I have also surrounded my daughter with books, but not just any books, but books I loved when I was a child. 

 

What a pretentious prick I am.. 

 

Besides, a few decades ago, the greater chance for strangulation, the better the toy.
