That is because Cabrera doesn't have enough tWtW to get the job done. How many World Series rings does he have again? Exactly.

Cabrera puts up meaningless stats and is not a clutch player. In fact, FanGraphs has him as a -1.45 Clutch player for his career! Dude was -1.45 last year and is only +.04 this year.

Jacob Ellsbury has a clutch score of 1.05 this year -- highest amongst dudes in AL going to playoffs. If he wasn't injured he must be AL MVP.

As such, if the season ended today, Ian Kinsler should be AL MVP. He has been the most clutch player after Ellsbury (.68).

To argue against Kinsler as AL MVP is to hate baseball, America and freedom loving people across the globe. It also means the NSA should watch you for potential terrorist sympathies.
