Johnny Football under investigation from the NCAA

Recommended Posts

So from what I've read he didn't take any compensation for all the signings he did.  His assistant said he wouldn't sign again without compensation.

What exactly has he done wrong?  I'm fine with throwing the hammer down on the kid if he actually broke significant rules.

Of course, THE Ohio State University didn't get much punishment.

The NCAA takes forever to decide what to do..  Looks at Miami - they have been waiting for 3 years.  So does T A&M play him knowing they may have to forfeit the games if he's found guilty?

The world is awaiting the Alabama re-match with A&M.  I'd play him and let the NCAA do whatever/whenever.  This will be difficult to prove.  I think I saw that Johnny M's family has hired Cam Newton's attorney to represent him.

He broke a rule, but it's a dumb rule. The ncaa is a joke. Just pay them

Agree. A&M allowed their boosters to sell a dinner ticket to sit next to Manziel for $20K. Everyone makes $$ off these college athletes except the player. With the amount of money involved these days, the rule needs to be revisited and allow for compensation.

But Manziel did break the rule and NCAA will flex their muscle. I'm sure there will be some other athlete that beats his girlfriend and will get less of a punishment.

He broke a rule that every single player knows is set in stone. He's a f'n greedy dumbass. The  "child" drives a mercedes to school. Poor lil Johnny

When these players start paying their own tuition, room and board, books, travel expenses, medical coverage, etc while they're in college i'll be the first to say they should be able to accept money from outside sources.Until then, do what every other human being is expected to do -  obey the rules.
